On Saturday, Aug. 26, 1944, at the Baptist Church in Watertown, S.D., occurred the marriage of Miss Betty Brumbaugh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Brumbaugh of Watertown, formerly of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Vernon Thomas Minor, also of Watertown, S.D. Rev. A.C. Swenson officiated.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a sheer white dress with fitted bodice and lace neckline, trimmed with seed pearls. Her fingertip veil fell from a tiara of seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of pink roses and sweet peas.
Mrs. George Dobt, as bridesmaid, wore an aqua blue chiffon dress and carried a bouquet of pastel sweet peas.
The groom was attended by Maynard Madson and the ushers were Ross Siebert, brother-in-law of the bride, and Ralph Gordon.
The ceremony was followed by a reception in the church parlors. For the occasion the bride’s mother wore a powder blue ensemble with black accessories.
