Celar, Bernyce (27 OCT 1944)
On Friday, Oct. 27, 1944 at Kirksville, Missouri, occurred the marriage of Miss Bernyce Celar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Celar of Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), and Fred J. Barr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Barr of Greenwood. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Theo. L. Greden of Winona, Minn.
The bride wore a tailored brown pin stripe suit with brown and white accessories and a corsage of yellow roses and bronze chrysanthemums. Mrs. Greden wore a blue suit with a chrysanthemum corsage.
The bride is a graduate of the local high school with the class of 1944 and was employed in Neillsville before her marriage. The groom graduated in 1939 from the local high school and is engaged in fox and dairy farming. The young couple will reside on the groom’s farm west of Greenwood.
They enjoyed a wedding trip in Iowa and Minnesota and a wedding dance was held at the Silver Dome.
The Gleaner joins their many friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for many years of happy wedded life.
