Van Camp, Linnie (12 JUL 1869 - 30 MAR 1938)

Mrs. James Van Camp, nee Linnie Waterbury, was born July 12, 1869 at Jefferson. When about 6 years old, she came to Clark County and grew to womanhood here on the farm now owned by Wm. Hammer (26th Road). On April 12, 1898 she was united in marriage with Mr. James Van Camp, the ceremony taking place here. The couple moved to Park Falls, lived there eleven years and moved to Draper.

Death took Mrs. Van Camp from her loved ones last week Wednesday. She had been visiting two weeks at the home of a daughter in Park Falls and passed away while there. Among the survivors of Mrs. Van Camp are her husband and five children as follows: Mrs. Al Koshak, Park Falls; Mrs. Joseph Flirgel, Medford, Oregon; Mrs. Edward Thompson, Ironwood, Michigan; Alton, Loretta; and Ezra, Park Falls. A son Freeman, died in infancy. Mrs. Eutheda Lyon of this village is a sister of the deceased.

Funeral services held Monday were attended by Mrs. Adele Zuege of this village and Miss Dorene Zuege, Neillsville, Wis. Mrs. Lyon on account of ill health, was unable to attend the funeral. Burial took place at Park Falls.
