Beaver, Katherine (16 MAY 1938)

Miss Katherine Beaver, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Beaver, Loyal, and Mr. Joseph Bauer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bauer, Loyal, were united in marriage at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church Monday, May 16, 1938, at 8 o’clock, the Rev. Aloys Zinthefer performing the ceremony.

The bride was attired in a pink satin dress with white accessories and carried a bouquet of roses and carnations. She was attended by her sister, Miss Louise Beaver who wore a pink silk dress with blue accessories and a wrist bouquet.

The groom was attended by his cousin, Arnold Gall. Both young men wore grey suits.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents west of the village for immediate relatives. In the evening a dance was held at the Silver Dome which was attended by a very large crowd of relatives and friends.

Both young people are well known here having lived in this community all their lives. They will reside in Loyal where the groom has employment.

The Tribune joins their many friends in extending heartiest Congratulations.
