Shumway, Mrs. Rosalie (Marriage - 9 June 1941)
Rev. G. W. Longenecker performed two wedding ceremonies Monday afternoon. At 2 p.m. Mrs. Rosalie Shumway and Glen Horace Wright, formerly of Columbia, exchanged marriage vows, the groom’s sister, Mrs. John Apfel, acting as a witness. They will make their home at Orfordville, where the groom conducts a filling station.
Immediately following the ceremony. Miss Lena Turnmeier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Turnmeier of the town of Pine Valley, became the bride of Bernard E. Kisting of Richland Center.
Both services were performed at Sunset Point.
