Wardesky, Eugene (1944? - 8 FEB 2007)

Eugene "Geno" Wardesky, 62, Milwaukee, found peace after a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, surrounded by his loving family.

He was an avid golfer, a great fisherman, and a man of many talents. He was an iron worker with local #8 and retired from Interstate Erecting Co. He was also a Vietnam veteran.

He was a beloved husband and companion of Jackie (nee Davel), for 26 years; cherished dad of Debbie Hayden, Steve (Michelle) Wittenburg, Susie (Mark) Cimbalnik, and Scottie (Abby) Wittenburg; a devoted grandpa of Stephanie, Ryan, Amber, Jacob, Aryn, Nicole, Kayla, Brandon, Dylan, Jason Hallie, and Isabella; great-grandpa of Desire and Jordan; and a loving brother of Geri (John) Schwan, Harry (Gin) Wardesky, Sandi (Earl) Primley and Joan Johnson. He is also loved by other relatives and many friends. He will always be part of his family’s life.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Azof and Elizabeth Wardesky; and his brother, Lester.
