Montgomery, Shirley (Marriage - 4 Nov. 1941)
At 7 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, Miss Shirley Montgomery of Neillsville and Eugene Harsch of Marshfield were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in a nuptial high mass, the Rev. Fr. J. A. Biegler performing the rites. They were attended by Jerome Harsch and Evelyn Timmerman, both of Marshfield. Only close relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Harsch were in attendance.
The bride wore a brown street dress with moss green accessories. Her shoulder corsage combined rust colored pompons and white carnations. Her attendant wore a blue and brown suit, her corsage being pink and white. The men wore dark suits and boutonnieres.
A reception and dinner followed the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Montgomery, South Hewett Street, Neillsville, the table being set for 12. The celebration was a double one, the couple choosing the 20th anniversary of her parents’ wedding for their marriage date.
The young couple will live in an apartment in Marshfield, where the groom is employed in the Baer-Huth Clothing store.
