Stelter, Bertha (Marriage - 1 Nov. 1941)
Miss Bertha Stelter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stelter, Neillsville, and Herman Gloff, Chicago, son of Mrs. Emil Gloff, Neillsville, were united in marriage at one p.m. November first, 1941, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Henderson, Kentucky. The Rev. E. C. Rakow performed the single ring ceremony at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. The service was witnessed by the bride’s sisters, Misses Emma and Alvina Stelter.
The bride, a graduate of the Neillsville High School, had been employed for several years in the office of Clark County Judge. Her efficiency in that line of work and the pleasing and courteous manner in which she met the public made her a most valuable clerk.
Mr. Gloff also attended Neillsville high school. He is employed by the American Co., Chicago, where the couple will make their home.
