Norman Andreasen

WITHEE - Norman Andreasen 84, Withee, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005, at Victory Medical Group, Owen, Wis.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee. Inurnment will be in Nazareth Lutheran Cemetery, Withee.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Norman was born Sept. 15, 1921, in Withee to Carl and Thyra (Hansen) Andreasen. Norman and Charlotte Buchanan were married June 12, 1949. In 1941, he went to Chicago to work making walkie talkies for the Army. Norman worked at the Owen Locker Plant from 1946 to 1955, farmed for 24 years in the Withee area until 1979, then worked for Owen Implement in 1981, the city of Owen in 1982 and Clark County Health Care Center through 1986, when he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte of Withee; his children, Rodney (Toni) Andreasen, Medford, Bethany Andreasen, Minot, N.D., Bradley Andreasen, Fort Collins, Colo., and Cara (Gary) Brzezinski, Green Bay; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Roma (Richard) Peterson, Circle Pines, Minn., and Esther (Donald) Osterby, Wausau.
