DORCHESTER - Dale Seidel, 72, of Dorchester died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital Palliative Care Unit in Marshfield.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester, Wis. Inurnment will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation with family and friends will be at the church Friday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
Dale was born May 12, 1932, in Medford, the son of George and Myrtle (Schultz) Seidel. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Dale and Jean Younker were united in marriage Oct. 1, 1960, at St. Louis Catholic Church. He was employed with Kraft Foods in Milan from 1957 to 1989 as a cheesemaker.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Seidel of Dorchester; his children, Joseph (Rosemary) Seidel of Abbotsford and Debra (Ken) Fischer of Dorchester; six grandchildren; a brother, Gerald Seidel of Virginia Beach, Va.; and a brother-in-law, Gary Klocke of Orangeville, Ill.
Maurina/Community Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
