THORP - Walter L. Slovak, 91, of Arlington Heights, Ill., formerly of Thorp, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, at his home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. Burial will be in New St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery in Thorp.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Thorp Funeral home is assisting the family with arrangements.
