CABLE - Milton J. Tischendorf, 81, of Cable died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, at the home of his daughter, Sally Ritterbusch, in Freeport, Ill.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at St. Louis' Catholic Church, Dorchester, Wis. Sharing and a meal will follow the service. He was born Sept. 16, 1924, in Dorchester to William and Caroline (Skrivani) Tischendorf. On Sept. 22, 1945, he married Pearl E. Venzke in Milan. Pearl died July 13, 1994.

Milton served with the U.S. Air Force. For many years, Milton was employed at Briggs and Stratton in Milwaukee.

Surviving are his two sons, Joseph Tischendorf, Campbellsport, and John (Nancy) Tischendorf, Kewaskum; four daughters, Jane (Dave) Katalinich, Frederick, Colo., Peggy (Edward Juchemich) Tischendorf, Milwaukee, Mary (Charles) Black, Pelican Lake, and Sally (Jim) Ritterbusch, Freeport, Ill.; his brother, Dennis (Arlene Parent) Tischendorf, Dorchester; his sister, Shirley "Caroline" (Ernie) Krause, Stetsonville; and 10 grandchildren.
