Christensen, Dorothy (30 AUG 1930)
John Neidhold, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Neidhold, Sr. of Bruckerville, and Miss Dorothy Christensen of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), stole a march on their friends last week when they motored down to Waukegan and were married Saturday, Aug. 30, 1930 at 11:30 a.m. Of course there was no fuss and no worries, but you’ll want to know what the bride wore anyway for we are sure she was a lovely one. She wore a beautiful brown flat crepe and velvet gown with other accessories to match, and John wore a dark suit.
Nearly everyone in Dorchester (Clark Co.) country knows John and he is well liked by all, steady and too busy for mischief, a fine reliable man. Miss Dorothy is not so well known but she taught at Jerkwater last year so quite a number know her there and she is well liked by all who have met her. She is teaching the Pickard school this year and they will make their home with John’s parents for the present.
We join a host of friends in wishing them the best life has for them in every way. Say, where is that Charivari? We haven’t heard any undo noise yet.
