Kriplean, Mrs. A.J. (8 MAR 1895 - 6 OCT 1930)
Mrs. A.J. Kriplean of Colby, died at the Medford Clinic Monday afternoon, embolism, of short duration, causing her death. She was operated on for tumor last Monday, a week ago, and was getting along so well that Tony, who is owner of the Buick garage in Colby, went to Milwaukee on business and expected to soon bring her home again. The funeral was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Colby, Rev. Lachnit officiating, with burial in Colby Cemetery (probably St. Mary’s Cemetery with her husband Anton).
Mrs. Kriplean was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Bush of Stetsonville and was born March 8, 1895, and had reached the age of 35 years, 6 months and 28 days at time of death. She was married to Anton Kriplean of Medford, Dec. 29, 1915. Three children were born to them, Marie, 14, Marcella, 10, and Rita, 6.
The Kriplean’s came to Dorchester about 9 years ago and bought the garage now owned by Joe Sebold, and here their third daughter was born, and they were here until she was nearly 1 year old, when they moved to their present home at Colby.
Mrs. Kriplean was a cheery, jolly lady with a host of friends here who join us in offering our sincerest sympathy to Mr. Kriplean and his daughters and the other sorrowing relatives.
