Holman-Dobrenz. On Saturday, March 27th, 1937, at 2:30 in the afternoon, Gladys Holman, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Albert Holman, of Cleveland, became the bride of Albert Dobrenz, of Price. The wedding took place at the home of the bride’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold C. Holman, 1214 Manitowoc Ave., South Milwaukee, the Rev. Gonser of the German Lutheran church performing the ceremony.
The bride was attended by the groom’s sister, Irma Dobrenz, as bridesmaid, and Reuben Holmen, cousin of the bride, was best man. A dinner was given by Mrs. Arnold Holman to the immediate relatives at the wedding.
The bride was attired in a light blue acetate canton crepe dress with a corsage bouquet of white sweet peas and tea roses. The bridesmaid wore a dull rose crepe dress with rose colored sweet peas and tea roses.
Mrs. Dobrenz graduated from the Humbird high school with the class of 1936, and has been employed at South Milwaukee since graduation. Mr. Dobrenx has a position with the Du Zeers Erie Company at South Milwaukee, where he had been employed for a number of years as an electric welder. They will go to housekeeping in their apartment at 1210 Marshall Ave., South Milwaukee. Congratulations are extended.
