Elliott - Larson Bethothal
Announcement is made of the marriage of Theone Elliott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Elliott, Spencer, Wisconsin, and Wilbur Larson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Larson, Marshfield, Wisconsin, Route 4, on November 21, 1945. The Rev. R. Jay Wilson of the First Methodist Church read the double ring ceremony at five o’clock Wednesday afternoon in the J. C. Jensen home in Englewood, Colorado, where a wedding cake and flowers decorated the home.
The bride was attired in a melon wool suit with brown accessories and had a net head crown with rose bud insertions and a corsage of Talisman and Brides roses. She wore a gold bracelet and earrings, gifts of the groom.
Attendants were S-Sgt. and Mrs. A. R. Hemmy and son Dickie, who served as ring bearer. Mrs. A. R. Hemmy, sister of the bride, was attired in a gold suit with brown accessories and wore a gold bracelet gift of the bride and corsage of white gardenias.
After the ceremony dinner was served at the Golden Lantern in Denver to the wedding party, Mr. and Mrs. Elliott and the J. C. Jensen family.
Mr. and Mrs. Larson returned to Wisconsin on November 23rd having visited the Hemmys in Colorado.
The bride and groom are graduates of the Spencer High School. Mrs. Larson attended a summer session at the Wausau Business Institute and since has been employed in the Dairy Belt office at Spencer. Mr. Larson is engaged in farming on Route 4, Marshfield.
A wedding dance will be given in the Spencer Municipal Hall on Friday evening, March 1st.
