DORCHESTER -- Dennis William Tischendorf, 73, of Dorchester, died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester, Wis. Inurnment will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation with family and friends will follow the service at the church.

Maurina/Community Funeral Homes is assisting the family with the arrangements.

He was born May 29, 1933, in Dorchester to William and Caroline (Skruvani) Tischendorf. He farmed in the town of Deer Creek, Taylor County, until the mid-1980s. He also hauled semi loads of hay to area farmers.

He is survived by his children, Pat (Grace) Tischendorf of Dorchester, Mike Tischendorf of Athens, and Jan (Dale) Kloth of Dorchester; five grandchildren; and his sister, Shirley (Ernie) Krause of Stetsonville.
