Loretta Louise Haas

THORP -- Loretta Louise Haas, 75, of Thorp, died Saturday, March 17, 2007.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Thorp. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Thorp.

She was born Sept. 28, 1931, in the town of Butler, rural Thorp, to Paul and Appolonia (David) Brunett. She married Casper F. Haas on Oct. 8, 1949. They farmed in the town of Worden from 1958 to 1985.

Loretta is survived by her husband, Casper; her 14 children, Deb (Gordy) Christians of Hayward, Ken (Beth) of Chetek, Daniel of Thorp, Beverly of Madison, Phyllis, Mike (Char), Brian (Jenny) and Lois, all of Thorp, Nancy of Eau Claire, Eileen of Thorp, Ralph (Ria) of Menomonie, Robert of Oostburg, Doris (Wade) Zachow of Athens and Casper (Melissa) of Eau Claire; 27 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
