Holliday, Arthur E. (13 AUG 1879 - 14 MAY 1931)
Arthur E. Holliday, a former resident of Dorchester and Chelsea, died in an Albany, N.Y. Hospital, May 14, 1931, from injuries received while at work. He was employed by the M.R. Ingraham Construction Co., Albany, on a job near Brainerd, N.Y. The accident occurred when an emery wheel broke as Mr. Holliday was gumming a saw. The wheel struck him in the face below the eye, tearing away the right eye and lacerating the cheek.
Mr. Holliday was born at Albany, Wis., Aug. 13, 1879 and was 51 years, 9 months and 1 day old at the time of his death. He leaves to mourn, his wife, Winifred; two daughters, Waunita and Ruth; and two sons, Lee and Carol, besides a host of friends. The Clarion joins in offering sympathy to the bereaved ones.
