Scheibe, Wanda (18 AUG 1931)

At an altar of ferns and palms arranged in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Malmrose, St. Paul, Miss Wanda Scheibe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.S. Scheibe, was united in marriage to Harold J. Correll, son of Mr. and Mrs. F.V. Correll of Minneapolis.

Miss Frances Majeius, pianist, rendered a program of nuptial music and the wedding marches. A soloist sang several selections during the event.

Miss Harriet Correll, sister of the groom, acted as maid of honor. She wore a pink organdy frock fashioned with close fitting sleeveless bodice cut in a deep V in the back and front with a floor length skirt having a flounce midway on the skirt. She carried a bouquet of summer flowers.

Miss Scheibe was daintily gowned in a white organdie with a ruffle finishing the bottom of the skirt and outlining the deep V neckline in back. Rows of ruffling also trim the skirt. She carried a bouquet of roses, lilies of the valley and sweet peas.

A reception for 40 guests followed the ceremony at the home of the bridegroom’s home in Minneapolis. Mr. and Mrs. Correll will make their home in Minneapolis at 1901 First Av. So. Mrs. Scheibe from here (Dorchester, Clark Co., Wis.), was present at the wedding.

Miss Wanda is a lovely girl, well known by our readers and we join them in wishing the happy couple many years of joy and prosperity in future years.

Mrs. Edwin Scheibe returned to Dorchester Wednesday and accompanied by Mrs. Albert Malmrose and daughter, Beverly Joan, who will remain here for a short visit.
