Rogney, Ida E. (Marriage - 12 Jun. 1946)
On Wednesday afternoon, June 12 at 3:00 o’clock, occurred the wedding of Ida E. Rogney of Auburndale and Charles L. Runge of Unity.
The ceremony was read by Rev. A. D. Norson of Greenwood in the Mill Creek Church. Byron Moen sang I Love You Truly accompanied on the organ by Mrs. A. E. Norson.
The bride was attired in a tan traveling suit and wore a corsage, her attendant, Elmira Budtke wore a yellow dress suit and also had a corsage.
Mr. Runge was attended by George Dillinger.
The wedding ceremony was followed by a reception with 20 guests in attendance.
The newly married couple are on a wedding trip to Oakveld, Milwaukee, then to Cleveland and Chicago by plane. They will be at home to their friends at Auburndale after July 1.
Mr. Runge was a successful farmer at Unity for many years.
The Register joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
