Houghtonburg
Mr. and Mrs. Plehal and Mrs. Rudolph Kocourek and babe, of Minneapolis, Mrs. Grace Mademan of Stockton, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. John Gansel of Garden Valley, and Mrs. Thompson of Onalaska, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Hemmy Sunday. The three first ladies are sisters of Mrs. Hemmy and came to visit their father, Nick Borger, who is ill at the hospital in Black River Falls.
John Joss went to Chetek Friday to visit his daughter, Mrs. Al Jackson.
Mrs. Harriet Noble and Mrs. Don Holder drove up from Black River Falls Saturday afternoon and were supper guests at Houghtons. Master Don Holder returned home with them after a week in the country, and Miss Jahala Noble stayed to spend week with Leona.
