A. W. Short received word of the death of an aged aunt, Mrs. Josephine Jackson, at Columbus, Ohio, which occurred Monday, after an illness, at the age of 80 years. She was a teacher at Oregon for a number of years. The funeral was held under Eastern Star rites at Oregon Wednesday afternoon.
