Kading, Alice M. (26 DEC 1908 - 26 SEP 1931)

The many friends of the G. Kading family, former residents of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), were shocked to learn of the death of Alice Mary Kading, who was killed in a car accident, Sept. 26, 1931, at Ponca City, Oklahoma while visiting her brother Glenn.

Alice Kading was born in Dorchester, Dec. 26, 1908 and was 22 years, 9 months and 26 days old at the time of death. The remains were brought to Black Earth, Wis., where she lived until the past year and funeral services were held at the home and at the Congregational Church, Rev. H.L. Crouse and Rev. G.L. Bursack of Black Hawk, former Dorchester pastor, officiating. Interment was made in Oak Hill Cemetery beside her mother who died a number of years ago.

Alcie will be remembered here as a sweet, cheery, lovable little girl and while her friends mourn her sudden and untimely departure they have a heart full of sympathy for the mourning ones.

She leaves her father, Gustave Kading, a sister, Mrs. Alvin Brager of Vermont, three brothers, Glenn, Ponca City, Okla., Gaylen, Dallas, Texas, and Ralph, Los Angeles, Calif., to mourn her loss.

The Clarion join the many friends in offering sincere sympathy.
