Wibben, Katherine (4 JUN 1932)
A pretty wedding was solemnized at the Christ Lutheran Church at Abbotsford, Saturday, June 4, 1932, at one o’clock when Miss Katherine Wibben, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Wibben of Abbotsford, was united in marriage to Mr. Edwin Bahr of Marathon City. The ceremony was read by Rev. J. Brandt.
The bride was gowned in white with a floor length veil and carried a bouquet of pink roses and white sweet peas. The bridesmaid, Miss Alice Wibben, sister of the bride, wore a pink gown and carried a bouquet of mixed flowers. The groom and his attendant, Alvin Bahr, a brother, wore the conventional dark suits.
A reception a the bride’s home and dance followed the ceremony with 125 guests present. The happy couple will make their future home at Marathon City, where the groom is employed as a gasoline salesman.
Their many friends join the Clarion in offering best wishes for happiness and success in the future years.
