Williamson, Flora K. (Marriage - 21 Dec. 1946)

Mr. and Mrs. William Williamson, Unity, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Flora K. Williamson, to Bernard Eckes, 208 E Arnold St., Marshfield. The wedding ceremony was performed December 21, at 7 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Colby, with the Rev. N. B. Beschta officiating.

Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Eckes, Unity, cousins of the groom.

The bride was attired in a gray gabardine suit with which she wore pink and black accessories and a black feathered calot trimmed with pink marabou. Pink and white carnations were pinned to her shoulder.

Mrs. Eckes chose an aqua suit. Black and fuchsia-colored accessories completed her costume and her corsage was like the bride’s.

Following the ceremony breakfast and supper were served at the Williamson home to members of the immediate families.

Mr. and Mrs. Eckes will reside at Unity, where the bridegroom operates a tavern and a hotel.
