O’Keef - Nelson
In an informal ceremony at the residence of B. K. Taylor at Unity, Patrick O’Keef, N. Prospect Ave, Milwaukee, claimed as his bride, Nora Mae, daughter of Mrs. Burr K. Taylor, January 22, at 9 o’clock in the morning.
The bride wore a gray gabardine suit with black accessories and a corsage of orchids.
A wedding dinner was served for friends and relatives at the home of the parents of the bride. The young couple then motored to Milwaukee and were greeted by friends and relatives at an informal reception at the Knickerbocker Hotel.
After the reception the couple left on their honeymoon to Miami, Daytona Beach and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They will make their home in Milwaukee at 1626 N. Prospect Ave. after February 10.
Mr. O’Keef, who is the nephew of Mrs. ? O’Keef, E. Beverly Rd., attended Marquette University and is now a student at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He served with the A.A.F. in the European Theatre of Operation for three and one-half years during the war.
The bride is a graduate of the Sturgeon Bay high school. For the past year and one-half, she has been working at the Shadbolt and Boyd Co., in Milwaukee as a stenographer.
The Register joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
