Arndt, Mrs. Laura (Marriage - 27 Oct. 1939)

A wedding celebrated at the Methodist parsonage in Decorab, Iowa, on Friday, Oct. 27th, is of interest to many Humbird friends. Mrs. Laura Arndt and Mr. Freeman Shoemaker, both of Fairchild, were united in marriage with the ring ceremony of the church. The bride wore a brown traveling suit and brown accessories. The groom wore a brown suit. The wedding couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Cy. Sobyak, both of Fairchild. The bride’s attendant was dressed in a green traveling suit and black accessories, and the groom’s attendant wore a suit of navy blue. Following the ceremony the party returned to La Crosse for a wedding supper at the Linker Hotel.
