Local Happenings
Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Viergutz, of Neillsville, and Mrs. Eleena Hart and grandson Lloyd Hart, of Colfax, were callers in town Sunday.
W. F. Hein and wife spent Sunday with their daughter, Mrs. Roy Jeffrey, and family at Wisconsin Dells.
The Legion Auxiliary will meet at the home of Mrs. Clara Lastofka in Neillsville Nov. 13 - Mrs. Julia Bemis, Pres.
Mrs. Rose Russell and daughter, Miss Marjorie, attended the wedding of their cousin, Mrs. Karoline King, and William Graner, at Alma Center last Thursday afternoon.
Rev. and Mrs. Osborn and baby, Rev. and Mrs. Short and baby, of Canton, and Jos. Rickard, of Augusta, formed a party which left here Tuesday morning for Wessington Springs, S. D., to attend a ministerial meeting and youth’s conference, at the college. They expect to return next Monday or Tuesday.
Guy Pierce has been afflicted with infection in one of his hands the past week.
Herb Greene’s house has been wired for electric lights, J. W. Flynn doing the work.
Marvin Duerkop, of Alma, spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Duerkop.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rundle were at Chippewa Falls on business trip Saturday afternoon.
