Houghtonburg

The Royal Neighbors held their Christmas dinner party at the home of Mrs. Mahlon Houghton Friday.

Mrs. Blanche Grush of Oshkosh was a guest at the G. H. Iffland home a couple of days last week. She returned home Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Eischen and daughter, Mary Lou, went to Freeport, Minn., last week to attend the funeral of Mrs. Eischen’s mother. They returned Friday morning.

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Armitage and Mr. and Mrs. Lisle C. Armitage and daughter Jeneda of Christie, Harvey Seeman of Alma Center, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Iffland were dinner guests at Geo. Iffland’s Sunday.

Mrs. P. A. Hemmy has been spending most of the time lately in Black River Falls helping care for her mother at the hospital.

Joe held went to August Monday to visit his daughter, Mrs. Jay Ballett.
