Leiser, Louise (Marriage - 18 Feb. 1940)
A very pretty wedding was solemnized last Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed church, when Miss Louise Lesier, daughter of Mrs. Laura Lesier, became the bride of Mr. John Bradley, of Cambria, Wisconsin. The Rev. V. D. Weidler officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride wore a gown of white stain and coronet veil of lace trimmed tuelle. She carried a bridal bouquet of Talisman roses and sweet peas. She was attended by Miss Winifred Hardwick, who carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. Charlotte Ann Weidler acted as flower girl, spreading flower petals in the patch of the bride.
The groom wore a suit of navy blue, and was attended by Mr. William Creviston.
Mrs. Herman LeCaptain played the wedding march, and Mrs. Will Theiler sang, "Oh Promise Me."
Following the ceremony a reception for relatives and close friends was held at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Glenn Gower, of Granton.
A host of friends and classmates extend congratulations and sincere wishes for many years of happiness. The newly wedded couple will reside at Cambria.
