Olsen, Augusta (23 Aug. 1871 - 21 Jun. 1947)

Funeral rites were held Tuesday afternoon at Christ Lutheran Church at Abbotsford for Mrs. Augusta Olsen, 75, who died Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock at her home in Abbotsford, Wis. A complication of ailments caused her death.

The Rev. F. H. Sprenger, Dorchester, conducted the 1:30 o’clock services at the Olsen home and the 2 o’clock service at the church. Burial was made at Abbotsford, Wis.

Mrs. Olsen, nee Tesmer, was born at Forrestville, Door County, Wisconsin, August 23, 1871, and was married at Colby April 23, 1891, to John P. Olsen, Abbotsford, who died October 17, 1924. She received her education at Forrestville and lived in Abbotsford since she was married.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Julia) Earling, Loyal; Mrs. Edward (Edith) Feit, Unity; and Laura, at home; four grandchildren and ? great grandchildren.

Her three sisters and two brothers are Mrs. John Pribnow and Mrs. Conrad Orth, both of Colby; Mrs. William Dahlke, Portland, Ore., Paul Tesmer, Colby; and Herman Tesmer, Neillsville, Wis. Four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Mrs. Olsen was the mother of Mrs. Feit who operated the Clover Farm Store here and her many local friends join us in extending heartfelt sympathy at this time.
