Fitzmaurice, Dennis Earl (5 Dec. 1939 - 6 April 1940)

Funeral services for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Fitzmaurice were held at the Free Methodist Church at 2:00 o’clock Monday afternoon, and were attended by a number of relatives and friends of the family. Rev. Robert Osborn officiated at the service. Mrs. Stuve and Mrs. Osborn sang, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Someday the Silver Cord will Break," and Rev. and Mrs. Osborn sang, "Safe in the Arms of Jesus." Burial was in Mentor Cemetery.

Dennis Earl, was born at the Krohn hospital, Dec. 5th, last, and died at the home of his parents in the northern part of the town of Mentor, after a short illness on Saturday morning, April 6th, aged 4 months and 1 day. Surviving are his parents, one sister and two brothers, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter O’Leary, and numerous other relatives.
