Dignin, Jim (Sept. 1887? - 13 Oct. 1940)

A message was received Monday by his relatives Saturday that James Dignin died Sunday in a Chicago hospital. No particulars have been received. He served in the navy during the World War. His wife died nearly twenty years ago. Mr. Dignin was 53 years of age last September. He visited here about three years ago, but spent most of the time in the south. Home folks heard from him infrequently. Surviving are two brothers, Jerome L., of this village, Michael C., of Black River Falls, and one sister, Mrs. Irma Hart, of Colfax. Jim was a likable fellow, and leaves many friends in this vicinity.
