Hafemann, Aloha (Marriage - 29 Nov. 1947)
Miss Aloha Hafemann, Wausau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Hafemann, Colby, became the bride of Raymond H. Haefs, Green Bay, at high noon, Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity with Rev. J. A. Olson officiating. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Haefs of Bonduel.
The couple’s attendants were Miss Maxine Dreke, Milwaukee, niece of the bride, and Calvin Hafemann, brother of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Haefs of Bonduel.
The bride wore a gray gabardine suit accented with a shoulder corsage of American Beauty Roses and a small black hat with light gray feather trim.
The maid of honor wore a light blue gabardine suit, the bridesmaid, a gray suit. Both wore small black hats and shoulder corsages of pink and white carnations.
A reception followed at the home of the bride’s parents. The couple are away on a wedding trip to Minneapolis, Minn. They will be at home after January 1st in Green Bay, where the groom is employed.
Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Ben Haefs, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Haefs, Bonduel; Mr. and Mrs. Willis Hafemann, Marshfield; Miss Milda Hafemann, Wausau; Miss Maxine Dreke, Milwaukee; Misses Mary and Natalie Schroeder, Lucille Tahalsky, Virginia Strachota, Jane Mueller, Dora and Doris Genrich, and Dorothy Krienke and James Strachota, all of Wausau.
