Duby, Edward Lewis (7 July 1912 - 7 Oct. 1940)
Edward Lewis Duby, who passed away in Missoula, Mont., hospital Monday, Oct. 7th, from injuries received in a hunting accident, was born in Fairchild, July 7, 1912. He grew to manhood on the farm in the town of Cleveland. Six years ago he went to Idaho, working for a while around St. Marie. Since then he had been working in the mines around Wallace, and for about two years an employee of the Morning Mine.
On July 10, 1937, he was united in marriage with Miss Evelyn Crawford, of Wallace. To this union two daughters were born, Arlene and Jeanne.
He leaves to mourn his untimely death, besides his wife and children, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Duby, two brothers, Rodney, at home, and Roy, of Wallace, Idaho, and one sister, Mrs. Chester Stanley, of Humbird, and a host of relatives and friends.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Duby, and Rodney, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Watson, Archie Watson, Mrs. LaVina Watson, Mrs. Hartwig, Nelson, and Mrs. Emma Crave drove to Wallace to attend the funeral, which was held on Sunday, Oct. 13.
