Haskell, Rev. Geo. B. (1 Sept. 1867 - 1934)
Word has come to the community through the secular press of the death of Rev. Geo. B. Haskell, at the Odd Fellows home at Dell Rapids, S. D., on Dec. 6th. Odd Fellowship will recall that Mr. Haskell was the main worker in establishing the home in that state and in doing that work suffered a mental and physical breakdown. He entered the home soon after its dedication, and was buried in the home cemetery. Mr. Haskell was born at Wheatfield, Mich., Sept. 1, 1867, and entered the ministry in that state. He was located in Humbird in 1905-1906. His wife and five children survive. One daughter, Mrs. Snow, lives at Albany, in this state, and the others of the family are in Michigan.
