Martin, Merle W. #2 (5 NOV 1985 - 18 MAR 2007)

Merle W. Martin, 21, Withee, died on Sunday, March 18, 2007, from injuries sustained from an automobile accident in the town of Colby. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 21, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Lawrence Martin home, Owen, Wis. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 22, at the Longwood Mennonite Church, town of Longwood. Bishop Alvin N. Martin, Mr. Paul Wesley Oberholtzer and Mahlon Shirk will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Matthew Shirk, Marcus Martin, John Martin, Wesley Brubaker, Merlin Brubaker, and Paul Martin.

Merle Weaver Martin was born Nov. 5, 1985, in Withee, to Rufus and Anna Weaver Martin. He was employed with Senseng Construction, Curtiss, Wis.

Survivors include his parents, Rufus and Anna Martin Weaver, Withee; brothers and sisters, Vera W. (Leon) Leid, Thorp, Irvin W. Martin, Denver, Pa., Lawrence (Almeta) Martin, Owen, Mark W. (Mary Ann) Martin, Thorp, Annetta W. (James Jr.) Reiff, Greenwood, Barbara W. (Edward Eugene) Zimmerman, Withee, Alta W. Martin, Withee, Rose Anna W. Martin, Withee, and Delton W. Martin, Withee; grandparents, Jason and Alma Weaver, Fleetwood, Pa., and Esther Martin, Withee.
