Hause, Lillian (28 Nov. 1871 - 1 May 1944)
Mrs. Lillian Hause, aged 72 years, died at her home in Unity Monday night, May 1. She had been in ill health for several years with a heart affliction.
Lillian Sheldon was born November 28, 1871 at Dundee and was married to Sam Hause at Spencer on June 24, 1888. They made their home in the Unity vicinity ever since. She is survived by her husband; four sons, Chester of Hammond, Ind, Ray of West Allis, Vern of Fond du Lac and Howard at Colby; four sisters, Mrs. Leida Speck of Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Mabel Clark of Owen; Mrs. May Severson of Greenwood and Mrs. Mary Fuller of Unity; two brothers, Chester Sheldon of Wausau and Oren Sheldon of Saskatchewan, Can., 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild. One son, William, died in 1926; one brother, Edwin, and one sister, Martha, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon of this week at 1:30 at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby and at 2:00 o’clock at the Unity Methodist church.
