Helen Potts

Helen Potts, 86, Wausau, died Thursday, February 8th, 2007, at Mount View Care Center, Wausau.

The funeral mass was celebrated February 13th at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. The Rev. Joseph Gyim-Austin presided. Burial was in the Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.

Helen was born April 23rd, 1920 to the late John and Veronica (Hurak) Kralcik.

She married Alfred F. Potts at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Milan. Alfred preceded Helen in death January 31st, 2003. Helen was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son Larry Potts, Tomahawk; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward (Lorraine) Kralcik, Edgar and Anthony Kralcik, Abbotsford and one sister, Margaret Fasse, Athens.

Besides her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathleen Lotharius; three sisters, Marie, Anna, Elisabeth and two brothers, John and Joe.

Peterson-Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau, assisted the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
