Ruhmer, Bernice (? - 28 FEB 1933)

Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.) friends were shocked this week to learn of the death of Mrs. Vilas Ruhmer, who passed away at the hospital at Park Falls Tuesday noon. Funeral services are being held today (Friday) at Park Falls with the Rev. Father Becker officiating.

Bernice Anderson was born in Superior, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Anderson. She received her schooling at Superior and after graduating from the superior Teacher’s College she taught English in the Junior High School at Park Falls. On June 10, 1926 she was united in marriage to Vilas I. Ruhmer at Superior. They made their home at Park Falls where they have lived since then.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Ruhmer leaves a daughter, Lavonne Ann, 10 days old, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Anderson, 1121 Grand Ave., Superior, one sister, Geraldine, and 3 brothers, Carroll, Donald and Melbourne, all of Superior.

Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Premeau left Wednesday for Park Falls to be with the Ruhmers until after the services. Vilas Ruhmer is their nephew.

The many friends of the Ruhmers here join us in offering our deep and heartfelt sympathy to them in this hour of sorrow.
