Miss Marion Anna Pech, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pech of town of Unity, became the bride of Walter M. Hartl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hartl, also of the town of Unity, in a wedding ceremony performed in the Catholic parsonage at Colby Thursday morning of last week at 9:30 o’clock, the Rev. August Barkawski officiating, and the attendants were Miss Marie Hebert and Edward Hartl, a brother of the groom. The bride wore a white ninon gown made with a satin bodice and sweetheart neckline. A crown of seed pearls held her finger-tip veil of illusion and she wore a pearl necklace, a gift of the groom. Her flowers were an arrangement of white gladiolas and pink roses. Miss Hebert wore a pink ninon gown and carried white gladiolas and chrysanthemums. Fifty guests were served dinner at the home of the bride’s parents, where later a reception was held. The couple will reside on the groom’s farm near Auburndale. Guests included Mrs. Wayne Fuller of Phillips; Mrs. E. A. Pintaville of Wisconsin Rapids; Mrs. Frances Hartl, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hartl and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hartl and family of Auburndale; Mr. and Mrs. Jud Lyons of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sersch and family; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wyden and family.
