Rhyner, Maria (16 July 1874 - 4 April 1935)

Funeral service for Mrs. Maria Rhyner, who passed away Thursday, April 4th, were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at the home, followed by rites at 2:00 at the Methodist Church at Brooklyn. The Rev. C. Fluckinger, of the Swiss Reformed Church, Belleville, officiated. Pallbearers were Henry Blumer, August Tenscher, Fred Hoesly, Nichalaus Hefty, Henry Babler, and Baltz Hoesly. Burial was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Deceased was born at Elm, Canton Glarus, Switzerland, July 16, 1874. She came to this country in March, 1897, and lived in the town of Brooklyn, Wis., the rest of her life. She was a member of the Swiss Reformed Church.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Nordahl Fristad, of Humbird, and Margaret and Emma at home.
