Pickett, Francis M. (1857? - 9 June 1935)

Francis M. Pickett, for seven years chairman of the Clark County Board, and nineteen years chairman of the town of Unity, died at his home in the town of Unity, June 9, at the age of 78 years. Mr. Pickett was born at Hartford, but had lived in Clark County since 1871. He was a farmer, and although engaged in other activities, owned and operated 360 acres of land at the time of his death. Mr. Pickett was well known throughout the county. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and Masonic Orders. Burial was under the rites of the later in Spencer Cemetery.
