Domer, Marvin E. (1 Sept. 1922 - ? Nov. 1945)

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 4, at St. John’s Lutheran church, Riplinger, at 2:30 p.m., for Marvin E. Domer, who was reported dead by the war department.

Marvin was stationed in Italy, and the war department informed his parents that he had died of a skull fracture.

Pvt. Domer was born Sept. 1st, 1922, in the Town of Unity, attended the country school and graduated from the Unity, Wis. High School in 1940. Before entering Military Service in June 1944, he was employed at the Kasper cheese factory and the Riplinger box factory.

In November, 1944, he spent a furlough at his home and the following month went overseas, landing in Italy.

Surviving besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Domer, are a brother, Orville, at home, three sisters. Miss Ramona Domer of Marshfield, Mrs. Robert (Lila) Burke amd Mrs. Richard (Merle) Colby, both of Milwaukee; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schultz, of Loyal.
