George H. Lincoln, well known to the residents of this community forty years ago, died at a St. Paul hospital at 11:55 p.m., Thursday, January 16, after a seven weeks illness. Heart trouble and pneumonia, together with advancing years, caused his death. Mr. Lincoln would have been 78 years of age on March 1st. For the past twelve years the Lincoln home has been in St. Paul, where Mrs. Lincoln died Oct. 25, 1935. Funeral services for Mr. Lincoln were held under the rites of Odd Fellowship last Saturday, with Dr. W. S. Howard as officiating clergyman. Burial was in Elmhurst Cemetery, St. Paul.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Sturgis, St. Paul, and three sons, Robert, of St. Paul, Charles, in California, and Henry, of Anoka, Minn.
