Dietrich, Gertrude (20 JUN 1933)

A very quiet wedding occurred Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Paul Woik home in the town of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.), when Miss Gertrude Dietrich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Woik, became the bride of Hans Hennlich, Milwaukee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hennlich Sr. of the town of Holton (Marathon Co.). The single ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. E. Gage of the Green Grove Church.

The bride was tastily attired in a white satin ruffled gown with a lace trimmed cap style net veil. She carried an arm bouquet of roses and carnations. Her bridesmaids, Marion Dietrich and Gretchen Hennlich, wore yellow georgette and peach net gowns with bandeaus to match and carried arm bouquets similar to the bride’s. The groom and his attendants, Donald Sommers, the bride’s cousin, and Ervin Hennlich, the groom’s nephew, wore the conventional dark suits.

A reception was held at 6:30 at the home of the bride’s parents for the immediate relatives, with covers laid for 50. The happy couple will visit with the bride’s parents for a few days before returning to Milwaukee where the groom is employed by the Milwaukee Printing Co. They will be at home to their many friends after July 1 at their home at 2446 N. 23rd St., Milwaukee.

The many friends of the bride and groom join us in wishing them much happiness and prosperity in their journey through life together.

Those from here attending the wedding and reception were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hennlich and daughter, Gretchen, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hennlich and family, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jansen, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Fierke, and Herman Eggert, of Milwaukee.
