Lemon Nicholas (25 July 1844 - 24 April 1936)

Nicholas Lemon was born at Menomonie, July 25m 1844, and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clem Trader, east of Humbird, April 24, 1936, aged 91 years and 8 months. The infirmities of age were the cause of his death.

He was the son of Anthony and Harriet Gordon Lemon, and was the last one of a family of eleven brothers and sisters. Mr. Lemon was married at Couderay in 1882, to Miss Elsie Junior, who passed away Sept. 8, 1900. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Anna Trader, with whom he has made his home for the past twenty-two years. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and many other relatives.

Funeral services were held at the Free Methodist Church Sunday afternoon, Rev. W. J. Eberly officiating. Burial was in Mentor Cemetery. Relatives from away who attended the burial was Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lemon, Weston; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lemon, Mrs. Arillea Braker and Edgar Lemon, Menomonie.
