Bruss, Albert W. (22 Nov. 1874 - 8 Jun. 1964)

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Colby for Albert W. Bruss, of Colby, who died at 5 a.m. Monday at a Wausau hospital. The Rev. Harold Woodworth will officiate, and burial will be made in the North Spencer cemetery. The body is reposing at the Lulloff Funeral Home.

Albert W. Bruss was born Nov. 22, 1874, in Germany, and came to the United States at the age of 4 years, and settled in the Spencer area. He had been a cheesemaker for many years in this area before his retirement. He was married to Amelia Schwantes, who preceded him in death April 19, 1963.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Evelyn) Hahn. West Allis; Mrs. Arnold (Gladys) Beawer, Hamburg; Mrs. Fred (Bernice) Kress, Milwaukee; and Mrs. G. G. (Anita) Bock, Allen Park, Mich.; a son, Elroy Bruss, Cedarburg; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Frank, August and Otto Bruss, Spencer; and a sister, Mrs. Ida Seefeldt, Spencer.
