Luepke, Alvina (18 Jan. 1894 - 1986)

A former Spencer resident, Mrs. Alvina Luepke, 92, of the Colonial Living Center, Colby, died at 9 a.m. Friday at the Center, where she had resided since December 1980.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, with the Rev. William Ruhbusch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Sunday at Rux Funeral Home, Spencer.

She was born Jan. 18, 1894, in the Town of Spencer, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Foth.

She was married to William Luepke June 11, 1913, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. He died April 4, 1972.

The couple farmed in the Town of Brighton until moving to Spencer in 1943.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.

Surviving are three sons, Vilas Luepke, Leonard Luepke and Elroy Luepke, all of Spencer; one daughter, Mrs. John (Norma) Cross of Marshfield; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, one sister, and one grandson.
